One of the first things people realise when using MS Windows 8 is that Microsoft have taken the good old Start Button away. It has been replaced with the Start Screen but if you are like me the Start Screen may not be ideal for you.
What can you do? Well a number of third parties have come up with utilities that bring back the Start Button. The one we love is Classic Shell which can be downloaded for free at http://www.classicshell.net/.
We have installed it on many users computers and they all love it as it brings back the Start Menu while also allowing you to use the new Start Screen when desired.
Let me know in the comments below what you use and if you want me to do a You Tube video on bringing the start menu back to Windows 8? In the meantime check out our videos (including Windows 8 tutorials) on our YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/dpcomputing
